Alecia & Jacob - New York's City Hall

Today I took my lunch to congratulate Alecia & Jacob moments after they said "I do". When Alecia came to me to ask if I would sneak downtown for a few minutes to capture their wedding day I was so touched. It was such a special afternoon, it even moved the clouds. One moment it was gloomy and raining and the next a beautiful afternoon. Congratulations to the two of you! Cheers to many cloud moving afternoons!

Janice & Tim - Chesapeake Bay Wedding

As some of you might have guessed by the last name this couple may be related to me. Tim is my oldest cousin and the first boy to marry of our generation making Janice the first new Mrs. Clayton in my lifetime. I was so honored and touched that they wanted me of all people to capture their day. It might have rained harder than it had rained all summer but that didn't get these two down, they were all smiles [and kisses]. Together with their families they not only exchanged rings but hearts on this rainy summer day. It was perfect to say the least! Congratulations to Janice and Tim and welcome to the family Mrs. Clayton, I am so excited to be able to call you my cousin!

Lauren & Bob - Sonoma Wedding

To say this was a special wedding might be an understatement. For those of you who know Bob and Lauren you know what I am talking about. The love they share is not something you find every day. Two years ago on their first trip together they stopped at Jacuzzi Winery as their last stop on a wine tour from San Francisco. As they were tasting Jacuzzi's amazing wines they saw a bride running around and knew one day that would be them. I am so honored I was able to be a part of this. Congrats to you both and cheers to a lifetime of happiness!!

Calah & Tim - American Airlines Flight 59 Proposal

As some of you may know, I flew out to California last week for Lauren & Bob's Sonoma wedding. On my way out I was thrown a surprise and my very boring flight turned into a very memorable one but maybe not as memorable as it was for two other passengers. Midway though our flight an interesting message was read "Calah Lambertson, there is something Tim Ireland would like to ask you." When I pulled off my eye mask to see who this lucky girl was, I was shocked to see it was the girl sitting next to me with the boyfriend who was very nervous as they boarded the plane because their seats were not together. Thanks to a friendly row buddy who kindly switched him seats Tim got to ask Calah his question and I think it was fate that put me in the seat directly beside them. Thank you Tim and Calah for sharing this special moment in your lives with me. Cheers to the next chapter and since we're real life neighbors I hope that's not the last I'll be seeing of you. CONGRATS!!
